SV10 Floating Seal Solenoid Valve

SV10 Catalog Information (2 pgs./69KB)

Introduction:

Valcor Scientific has designed and engineered rugged, reliable solenoid operated valves for more than 40 years.

The SV10-Series was specifically engineered for controlling non-corrosive gases, light oils or light particulate liquids in the industrial markets.

Description:

The SV10 is a direct-acting, 4-port, 4-way solenoid valve, with ports on each side of the brass body.

These valves are primarily designed for controlling double-acting air or hydraulic cylinders with non-corrosive gases, light oils or light particulate liquid.

No minimum pressure is required for operation, and less than 1 psig minimum pressure differential in the direction of flow is required for drip-tight sealing.

The SV10-Series employs Valcor's unique "Floating Seal" design, which utilizes an optically flat Delrin seal disc against an equally flat stainless steel seat. The straight-through flow and self-lapping of the discs make the valves less susceptible to contaminants in the fluid.

Applications:

Model SV10 is suitable for a broad range of light industrial applications, both new and retrofit. Typical applications employing the model SV10 include:

bulletCryo pumps for analytical instrumentation
bulletAir dryers in various industrial applications
bulletActuating cylinders in packaging equipment

SV12 Floating Seal Solenoid Valve

SV12 Catalog Information (2 pgs./481KB)

Introduction:

Valcor Scientific has designed and engineered rugged, reliable solenoid operated valves for more than 40 years.

The SV12-Series was specifically engineered to permit the high flow of non-corrosive fluids, light particulate liquids or gases.

Description:

The SV12 is a direct-acting, 2-way normally-closed solenoid valve. These valves are designed to permit the high flow of  non-corrosive fluids, light particulate liquids or gases, with no minimum pressure required for operation. They require less than 1 psig minimum pressure differential in the direction of the flow for drip-tight sealing. Utilizing Valcor's unique "Floating Seal" design, which uses an optically flat Teflon seal disc against an equally flat stainless steel seat.

Because of the straight-through flow and self-lapping of the disc against the seat, contamination and leakage is minimized.

The SV12 is available with two orifice sizes.
