Direct Lift Solenoid Valves

1/8" to 1" FNPT or BSPT
Zero to 10,000 psig
-420°F to +500°F

These valves are used where small flows are needed. The magnetic pull of the coil opens the internal orifice directly by lifting the plunger assembly off the valve seat. Since these valves depend entirely upon the magnetic power of the solenoid for operation, the higher the pressure differential, the smaller the internal orifice must be. The orifice size available also depends on the viscosity of the fluid and the voltage requirements. Some applications would be:

bulletDirect injection of additives to a process
bulletAir ejection of a part from a mold or die
bulletHigh pressure cleaning of a small surface area
bulletSmall vacuum systems

This type valve operates from zero to a maximum specified operating pressure (see chart below).

NOTE: These valves must be mounted in a horizontal pipeline with the solenoid coil on top.

* Indicates valve always has a Class H coil as a standard feature. Series 1000, 2000, 13000, 14000 & 16000.
(1) Normally-Closed ONLY.
(2) Available in 3-way configuration.
# These valve series require a double-wound coil and Type "R" Relay for pressures above 1,500 psi. Consult Factory.

Maximum Pressure Differentials shown are for AC Voltages with the smallest orifice size. Consult the full catalog, local distributor or factory on DC Voltages and Normally-Open valves.
